Our family spent thirty years serving with Wycliffe Bible Translators before we opened Ebenezer Retreat. Nine years ago, we began hosting on Airbnb as a way to support our growing family while we continued that same non-profit work — a kind of tentmaking.
Hospitality and serving others have always been part of our family's ethos, and this retreat grew naturally out of that calling. We carry both grief and gratitude, honoring our son David while walking beside Ethan with NF1. Every suite is prepared for one guest, with prayerful care, so that you can rest, meet with the Lord, and leave strengthened for the next step He sets before you.
David's memory continues inspiring our family through faith, love, and kindness. We invite you to learn how his life remains a meaningful part of Ebenezer Retreat.
Discover Ethan's journey with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 and the hope, perseverance, and faith that continue encouraging our family while inspiring others facing similar challenges with courage.
Each suite is kept calm and unhurried, inviting you to rest, pray, read, and simply be.
