Victorian Rest

We call this room Victorian Rest because, from the beginning, we wanted it to feel like the kind of bedroom a kindly aunt might offer you after a long road trip: simple, gracious, and quiet. Solo guests slip into the Pottery Barn bed, look out at the green yard beyond the window, and tell us they sleep more deeply here than they expected.

Your private room is thoughtfully arranged for one traveler. A comfortable full bed, writing desk, smart TV, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker make early mornings easy. We set out coffee, tea, water, and light breakfast snacks so you can wake slowly instead of rushing out the door.

The bathroom is shared, but the atmosphere of the house is very still, with clear boundaries that keep things respectful and safe. Outside, our large backyard with fruit trees, seasonal flowers, and simple walking paths offers a gentle way to stretch your legs, pray, or just listen to the birds for a few minutes.

Because of asthma and allergies in our family, we keep the home strictly smoke-free and pet-free. The one-person rule and keypad entry protect the quiet many guests are specifically seeking. Whether you are here on business or just passing through, Victorian Rest offers a small, peaceful corner where your soul can catch its breath.
