Bethel Retreat Suite

Bethel means "house of God," and when we prepared this retreat suite, we did it with many whispered prayers for those who would come through the private side entrance carrying unseen burdens. Time after time, guests have told us that the first thing they notice is the calm: the soft light across the wood floors, the stillness of the orchard outside, the sense that no one needs anything from them for a little while.

This 800-square-foot guest suite is attached to our home yet completely private, reserved for one person only. A spacious bedroom with queen bed opens to an attached bath, and a separate sitting room with kitchenette and Roku TV gives you a cozy place to read, journal, or quietly catch up on work. We stock simple breakfast items, coffee, tea, and snacks so mornings can remain unhurried.

Outside, shade trees, blooming plants in season, and a gentle swing offer a setting that feels more like countryside than city. Our house rules-no visitors, no smoking, no pets-keep the environment safe, peaceful, and allergy-friendly. For the business traveler needing refuge at day's end or the believer seeking a few days alone with the Lord, Bethel Retreat Suite is a small, steady reminder that His presence meets us in ordinary rooms.
